#1 daughter is a college student in NYC. This year she's living in the financial district, close to ground zero. Her reflections will be interesting. Sept 11 is one of those days when you remember where you were and exactly what you were doing....

It's almost impossible to believe it's been seven years. I can still see Bryant Gumbel's face on TV that morning in the confusion of watching the first plane and I'll never forget the feeling of absolute terror I felt when I saw the second plane hit and realized what was happening.
7 years! I'm floored. Somehow I didn't realize. I can't imagine what the families and victims feel each year. God bless them.
