Beyond FAMILY: My Mixed-Race Family Featured on MixedAndHappy.com!

I’ve written about Suzy Richardson over at MixedAndHappy.com before and am now very excited to share a link to my family’s own corner of this terrific website for folks of mixed-race heritage and their loved ones. In a very short period, Suzy and her assistant director, Liz Brown, have put together (and very sucessfully promoted) a dynamic, fantastic resource that regularly features not only a mixed-race Family of the Week, but informative and thought-provoking articles by contributors such as Mama C (a blogger at mamacandtheboys.com and single parent with her own colorful family); Marcia Alesan Dawkins, Ph.D. (a professor of Human Communication at California State University, Fullerton and author of the forthcoming book (which I truly cannot wait to read!), Things Said in Passing); and Eddie Nwabuoku, Director of Technology for the New York-based Loving Day Project.

Thanks for welcoming the Carters to the family, Suzy!

One of my favorite photos of my two girls by my sister, photographer extraordinaire Lisa Miller of Studio di Luce.

That's a new site for us. We think it might be nice to add a link to mixedandhappy.com from our Mixed Race UK website. Thanks for posting this and the rest of your blog posts up. :D
